Be a part of the Scandia-Marine Lions Club’s new virtual Lions Lecture Series. Each month – from August 2020 until June 2021 – learn about the global causes that the Lions are interested in supporting: Diabetes, the environment, hunger, pediatric cancer, and vision.

The Lions Lecture Series’ third free webinar will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. It will feature a presentation by Big Woods Farm and Fare for All.

Representatives from each organization will discuss how hunger is being addressed locally and throughout the state. Big Woods Farm is located in Marine on St. Croix and grows food that is donated to Fare for All. Fare for All is based in New Hope and distributes food throughout Minnesota as a way to help families stretch their budgets.

The link to register in advance for the free presentation is forthcoming. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
