- Best Holiday Spirit, Best Theme, and Best Use of Lights – 1 winner in each category
- $100 prize for each winner
- Nominate your home by 12 p.m. on November 28th
- Email your entry with photo(s) and address where the lights are located to: arinkenberger@lions5m-6.org
- Winners will be announced during the first week in December

- Coloring sheets:
- 1st prize – $25; 2nd prize – $10; 3rd prize – $5 – 3 winners in each category
- Enter by 12 p.m. on November 28th
- Drop off entries at Scandia Market & Mercantile or Apothecary’s Daughter

- Medallion Hunt – Win $250! If you have a Scandia-Marine Lions Club Super Saver Book with you – win another $100! – Starting at 1 p.m. – Clues posted every half hour at https://www.facebook.com/ScandiaMarineLions
- Listen to Christmas and holiday music played at the Scandia Community Center from 12-5
- Give cash or a check (made payable to the Scandia-Marine Lions) so Santa can help local families in need and fund the Lions’ programs
- Children – write a letter to Santa and drop it in his mailbox. Make sure to include your name and address! (Letters also can be dropped off at Security State Bank in Scandia at the drive-though during the day and the night box after hours. The letters will be delivered to Santa at Vinterlights.)
- Donate items to the Lions’ collection drive in the Heritage Room at the Scandia Community Center from 12-5. Bring:
- non-perishable food for the food shelf at Elim Lutheran Church (the expiration date should be 2022 or beyond)
- eyeglasses for the Lions’ vision program (glasses only – no cases)
- pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House to help children with cancer
- aluminum cans for the Lions to recycle and use the proceeds to help local programs (the can collector will be in the Community Center parking lot)
- mittens for children and adults in need (new or gently used)
- Free goodie bags will be given for those who make a donation to Santa or at the collection drive from 12-5p.m.
- Enjoy the lighting ceremony at the Scandia Community Center where there will be two fire pits and a children’s choir. At 5 p.m., the lights at the Community Center, Gammelgarden Museum, and Elim Lutheran Church as well as the snowflakes on the light posts along the streets all will be lit.
