The Scandia-Marine Lions Club offers non-renewable scholarships each year to students graduating from local high schools and homeschools, who reside in the Scandia-Marine area, and have been accepted at a college or technical school.

The award is based on scholastic achievement, service to others, and an essay. In 2026, we will offer $500-$1,000 scholarships, depending on the amount we raise and the number of students applying for scholarships.

Requirements of the scholarship are:

• Completed application
• Official transcript, including courses completed and grades to date
• One letter of recommendation
• Essay
